Anita Nicholson is an independent corporate trainer based in Nova Scotia, Canada. She has 20+ years experience planning, designing and delivering a variety of training programs to meet corporate requirements. Her objective is to analyze training needs and apply learning strategies and training techniques that deliver immediate results in customized designed programs.

She provides expertise in all areas of corporate training including client including client presentation, comprehensive needs analysis as well as program design and delivery. She works closely with clients to ensure needs are met. Throughout her programs, participants are encouraged to learn through working with their own cases and situations to develop their skills.

Anita specializes in Business Communication Skills, Team BuiIding and Leadership, Presentation Skills, Facilitation Skills, Train-the-Trainer, Diversity Awareness, Behaviour Management and Stress Management.

Anita's training has taken her into the fields of healthcare, finance, aerospace, communications, sports, government, education, information technology, electronics and numerous areas of manufacturing. She is very competent in both business and industry working with all levels of management as well as employees on the shop floor as well as in offices.

As a contract instructor with a nationally known company, The Training Clinic, Anita conducts a variety of train-the-trainer workshops. She is as comfortable in public workshop sessions as with in-company presentations.

In her capacity as a consultant, Anita helps her clients to identify training needs and works closely with them to ensure objectives are met. She enjoys delivering programs that encourage participants to learn through working with their own cases and situations to develop their skills.

Anita holds a B.A. in Languages and Linguistics from Carleton University, Ottawa, Ontario and an M.A. in Linguistics from the University of Calgary, Alberta. She has continuing education courses in Adult Teaching Methods from UBC, Vancouver, B.C. She has further education in Train-the-Trainer and Program Analysis and Design.
