Certified Performance Consultant (CPC)

Transition from a traditional approach to training to a performance consulting approach. Partner with business units to identify client needs. Use a variety of consulting roles appropriately. Use an 8-step internal consulting approach to managing the training function. Use a case study to apply consulting tools.
CERTIFIED TECHNICAL TRAINING SPECIALIST

This five-day workshop is for the trainer, subject matter expert or instructor who develops and/or presents training programs. The content and methods are appropriate for classroom instruction as well as on‑the‑job training and is suited to training employees and customers. The CTTS Certificate is divided into four parts.

In this three-day certificate workshop, you will learn how to design and develop a successful orientation program that incorporates twelve elements of proven, successful orientations. This workshop is based on national and international research and covers setting objectives, selecting orientation methods, gaining supervisory involvement and satisfies safety requirements through a well-designed program. HOW TO ASSESS
TRAINING NEEDS

Learn to use nine different “front-end” needs assessment tools effectively. Tools include performance analysis, target population analysis, job and task analysis, and training methods analysis. Learn to sort out training needs versus training "wants”. Emphasis is given to writing surveys and questionnaires. Tools are provided to measure the effects of training using four levels of evaluation.

Several types of needs analysis are developed to help uncover real training needs in the organization. Needs are translated to learning objectives. How to select training methods, write case studies and evaluate training are strong components of this workshop that follows a traditional Instructional Systems Design (ISD) model. A Systematic Approach to the Transfer of Learning

How to use a 9-part strategy to transfer learning to the organization by increasing an instructor's skills, involving managers and trainees actively before, during and after the training event are addressed. Techniques to develop a manager's feedback and coaching skills are included with a post-training performance analysis tool.
