She has published several articles on career development and global
leadership.
As a contract instructor with The Training Clinic since 1986, Melissa conducts a variety of train-the-trainer workshops.
Melissa has had
extensive preparation in adult learning theory, workshop presentation
methods and instructional design. She has experience designing and
facilitating case studies, inventories and self-assessment tools in
communication skills, leadership styles and personal behavior.
Prior to becoming an independent consultant and trainer, Melissa's professional experience included 12 years in retail management and training.
She created and managed
the training and development function for a two-billion-dollar retail
company.
Melissa
graduated Phi Beta Kappa from
Occidental
College
and holds a Masters of
Business Administration degree with special emphasis on organization development
from The University of Michigan.
