Dianne Faieta, principal of Northern California-based Faieta & Associates, delights in working with individuals and groups to help them achieve their personal and professional potential. Participants report that her training is highly effective at equipping them with truly relevant and useful skills. Clients consistently describe her as “enthusiastic” and a “dynamic speaker.” One participant declared, “Dianne’s professional and personal ‘presence’ are outstanding! I feel lucky to have been here.” She has conducted customized in-house Train Clinic workshops for the following organizations:
Dianne
is a skilled communication improvement and career management
“coachelor” and trainer. She
works with diverse audiences across a wide variety of business,
governmental and educational organizations.
Examples of clients who have employed
her talents include: Bechtel,
DBM, E-LOAN, G.E. Capital, Genentech, Defense Language Institute, East
Bay Municipal Utility District, Graduate School USDA, University of
California Office of the President and Stanford University. Before
launching Faieta & Associates in 1982, Dianne enjoyed careers as an
in-house trainer for both the Girl Scouts and Orange County Transit
Authority.
For OCTA Dianne was “the training department” and as such
conducted needs assessments, designed training for all employee levels,
developed materials, evaluated performance and facilitated meetings.
She created the new employee orientation program, leadership
training for new supervisors and managers, special courses for
administrative staff as well as the District’s career management
process.
Prior to that, Dianne was a college instructor in communication
skills and a secondary school English teacher. Dianne
is qualified not only by experience but also by education.
She holds a Bachelors in English from University of California,
Santa Barbara and a Masters in Communication Studies from California
State University, Long Beach in addition to a Post-Masters Certificate
in Career and Life Planning from John F. Kennedy University in Pleasant
Hill, California. She
co-authored the popular textbook Communicate!
A Workbook for Interpersonal Communication!
In addition, she has contributed to publications such as Human
Resources Journal (“How To Help Career Managers See the Light”)
and local newsletters of the American Society for Training Development. Ms.
Faieta assess clients using instruments such as the DiSC, FIRO-B,
Knowdell Values Card Sort, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, Neurolinguistic
Communication Profile, Strong Interest Inventory, SkillScan and the
Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument. Dianne is proud of her affiliation with The Training Clinic since 1984, for whom she has successfully presented at national training conferences as well as public and in-house train-the-trainer programs for thousands of satisfied participants. |
