Jeannie O. Burch Master Trainer

Jeannie O. Burch is a training consultant  and principal of JEANNIE BURCH AND ASSOCIATES. She specializes in programs dealing with communication skills and interpersonal relationships. Course areas include:

She also writes facilitator manuals and conducts train-the-trainer courses.

Before forming her own consulting firm in 1983, Jeannie was a Training Consultant for American Edwards Laboratories, a Division of American Hospital Supply Corporation, where her specialties included supervisory and management training for their 2,000 employees. Additionally, Jeannie has worked for the Tennessee Department of Public Health as a Training Coordinator for over 500 clinic employees, nurses and physicians statewide, developing and delivering programs in Public Relations, Customer Contact, Verbal and Nonverbal Communications and Attitude Training.

In 1993, Ms. Burch took special courses to increase her skills both in front of and behind a camera. She has appeared in commercials, industrial videos and printed corporate brochures.

While working as an Employee Development Consultant for the Tennessee Department of Personnel/Training, she was awarded the Outstanding Trainer of the Year award. Her contributions included the State's first Pre-Retirement Planning Seminar, the first New Employee Orientation Program, and the first New Supervisory Development Training Program.

Ms. Burch has a BS degree from the University of Tennessee and has been actively involved in the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) since 1974. Highly involved in the Middle Tennessee Chapter of ASTD, she held every office through Chapter President (1978). After moving to California, she was active in the Orange County Chapter of ASTD where she was VP of Membership and presented programs for ASTD in local workshops and training fairs.
