EFFECTIVE PRESENTATIONS helps overcome fear before a group, plan and develop a speech, involve others in an interesting, informative manner.  Informative and persuasive speeches are stressed.  Use of audio visuals, platform techniques are stressed during the participant's two presentations.

EXPECTED OUTCOMES

At the end of the training, the participant will be able to:  

1.  Identify the strengths and weaknesses in their current presentation skills
2. Use 20 strategies to overcome fear of speaking before a group
3. Recognize specific delivery skills and tactics that will enhance their presentations
4. Describe the difference between the topic and the purpose of a presentation and be able to narrow the subject of a presentation to match their audience analysis
5.  Prepare to make dynamic presentations
6. Identify how to capture participant interest from the beginning
7.  List different ways to organize their material
8.  Identify how to end a presentation with impact
9.  Use a Presentation Planning Template for future use
9.  Create a personal action plan for continued self-development
